What is Active Directory?

The active directory is a new system that we are implementing at Norwich that will serve many new purposes. It allows us to more easily manage the domains as well as push out software and updates over the network. It has an integrated back up system which will synchronize the My Documents folder on your desktop to the server so there is always a current back up of all of your important documents.
