What changes will I notice?
• You will log into the NORWICH domain rather than NU/NUCSD/NULAB.
• The My Documents folder icon and all its subfolders will show 2 arrows on the lower left corner. This means that it is synced to the server.
• You will be using a new profile on your computer. Most of your settings should have been copied over from your old profile. You may need to make a few adjustments such as your resetting your wallpaper, screensaver and other personalized settings. Contact the Helpdesk at X2456 if you need help adjusting any of these settings.
• Your computer will go through a synchronization process at startup and shutdown. Access database files will not synchronize. Make sure you let this process finish.
• You may notice a slowness opening files when connected to the network while we're moving everyone into active directory.
