Word, for Beginners or Advanced:
This Class gives the user an opportunity to explore a variety
of word functions. These functions include, but not limited
to:
Mail Merge with Excel Data Base, Create letters, labels, and
envelopes in Word by merging information in Excel databases.
Word Comments and Track Changes: Sharing files
with others to comment or make changes? Track Change and Comments
allow others to share opinions in Word electronic format.
Word Macros: Crate Short cut keys and icons that will
enter repetitive information in Word documents, such as signature
and return addresses.
Word forms: Create an online form users can fill out
and send back to author via electronic format.
Excel: This class gives the user and opportunity to
explore the variety of Excel features. These features include,
but not limited to:
Basic Excel Formatting, Excel Formula Functions, Using Excel
as a Merge Data Base
Powerpoint:
This class gives the user an opportunity to explore the variety
of Power Point features. These features include, but not limited
to:
Basic Power Point Slide Show, Advanced Power Point Slide Show,
Enhancing Presentations
Web browsers and how to search the web:
This class gives the user an opportunity to explore the Variety
of Web features. These features include, but not limited to:
Netscape and Internet Explorer, Searching with search engines,
Book Marking Favorites, Cleaning Cache, Cleaning History
Windows Operating System:
This class will give the user an opportunity to explore the
many features of the Windows 2000 operating system. These features
include, but are not limited to: Exploring Windows, File Management,
Sharing Files and Folders, Backing up Files with CD Burning
Email and Calandering:
This class gives the user an opportunity to explore the features
of Email and Calandering. The features include, but are not
limited to: CLiC E-mail, Netscape Messenger E-mail, CLiC Calandering,
Synchronizing and Working Off line
File management: This class will help you develop better file management skills. The user will learn how to organize files for quick retrieval, locate files using the search feature in Windows and much more. Once a good organizational method is established, the user will learn how easy it is to back up their important documents onto CDs.
File sharing and mapping over the network: Learn how to quickly and effectively transport large and small documents over the network. This class offers an alternative to sending files via E-mail.
