INSTRUCTIONS FOR ON-LINE COURSE EVALUATIONS
Student Version
Note: The on-line course evaluation system may be used from room, lab and home - anywhere Internet access is available.
Overview: As of the spring 2004 semester, all students at Norwich University are required to complete a course evaluation for each course in which they are enrolled (for only those courses with student enrollments of three or more). The Registrar, beginning two weeks prior to the start of final exams and ending one week following the last final exam, will enable the course evaluation system. During that period, students must complete all course evaluations. Failure to complete a course evaluation will result in a "hold" being placed on the student's final grades. Completion of the course evaluations will result in the immediate removal of that hold.
1. Log into CliC.
2. Select the "Banner Web" tab near the top middle of the screen.
3. Login using your User ID and 6-digit PIN code assigned by Information Technology.
4. Select "Student Services" from the menu.
5. Select "Norwich Course Evaluation Form" from the next menu. Note: This menu option will only be available when the Course Evaluation System is enabled by the Registrar's Office (beginning two weeks prior to the start of final exams and ending one week following the last final exam).
6. The "NU Course Evaluation Form" should now appear on the screen listing the courses in which the student is enrolled. A message near the top of the form will indicate the number of course evaluation that must completed. Note: Courses in which enrollment is two or less will not appear on the screen - evaluations will not be performed on those courses.
7. Clicking on a course number will allow entry to the actual evaluation form for that specific course. Every question on the form must be answered before clicking on the "submit" button at the bottom of the form. If the student forgets to answer a specific question, the evaluation system will print out a helpful message specifying the question number of the unanswered question.
8. After the student has completed all course evaluations, the following message will appear at the bottom of the screen: "Thank you for completing your course evaluations!" The student can now exit from the course evaluation system and view his/her final course grades (assuming that they have already been entered by the professor).
