Summer Residency FAQs
1) What telephone access will I have from my dorm room?
The phone jacks in the dorm rooms are able to dial local 485 numbers and toll free numbers. Calling cards can be purchased at Computer Services in Juckett Hall Rm. 101. NOTE: Telephones are not provided in the dorm rooms. Please contact your program coordinator for more details.
2) Will I be able to access the internet with my personal computer from my dorm room?

3) Will I be able to use the computer labs on campus while I am here?
Yes. The computer labs on campus require a network username and password. Please see your program coordinator or contact computer Services for more information regarding your account.
4) My laptop has wireless capabilities. Can I access the school's wireless network?
Unfortunately, our wireless access is still in its testing phase and will not be available while you are on campus this summer.
5) Will I be able to use my laptop to run a Powerpoint presentation in the classrooms?
If you plan to present a presentation with your laptop, some classrooms
are equipped with ceiling mounted projectors. Please contact Computer
Services at Ext. 2456 to make arrangements for testing and equipment.
