Email Update Instructions

As an ongoing operation to improve the quality of services provided to the Norwich Community, some changes need to be made with the Email system and the way that we connect to email. Everyone that uses Netscape Messenger or a similar Email client will need to make a few changes to their current configurations. The incoming server name needs to be changed from clic.norwich.edu to postoffice.norwich.edu. The outgoing (SMTP) server needs to be changed from norwich.edu to mailsend.norwich.edu. Instructions will be available below to assist you in making these changes. Once these changes have taken place, you will be required to use a VPN client if you plan on accessing your mail away from campus. A VPN is a Virtual Private Network which allows you to connect to our network here on campus when you are away from campus. Please follow the links below for instructions on connecting with the VPN.
